Exterior Repair & Storm Restoration

Siding Repair — Because the Storm Didn't Only Hit Your Roof

When hail comes through at an angle, it hits your walls too. Cracked, punctured, or faded siding isn't cosmetic — it's your home's water barrier, and it belongs in the same conversation as your roof.

Do a Full Exterior Assessment, Not Just the Roof

If a storm damaged your roof, it very likely touched your siding, gutters, screens, window wraps, and soft metals as well. Homeowners who only claim the roof frequently leave real, covered damage on the table.

We walk the full exterior on every storm inspection — all four elevations — and document what we find. Whether you pursue it is your decision, but you should at least know it's there.

Siding Damage Becomes Water Damage

A crack or puncture in siding lets water reach the sheathing and framing behind it. That damage is slow, hidden, and expensive by the time it announces itself indoors.

Hail damage on vinyl often shows as cracking or small punctures that are easy to miss from a distance, particularly on the elevations that took the storm directly. Older vinyl that has become brittle from UV exposure cracks far more readily.

What We Do and Don't Do Here

We handle siding repair and storm restoration, and we coordinate it with roofing work so the details where the two meet — kickout flashing, step flashing at wall intersections, water management behind the siding — are actually handled correctly rather than left to two trades to argue over.

For a complete whole-home siding replacement or a specialty material, a dedicated siding company may serve you better, and we'll say so. We'd rather refer you than take on work outside what we do best.

Siding Repair Questions

Straight Answers

Can you match my existing siding?

Often, if the color and profile are still manufactured. Older siding may be discontinued or may have faded from UV exposure so that even a correct new panel doesn't match visually. If a match isn't realistically achievable, that's relevant to an insurance claim — and we'll document it rather than install something that looks obviously patched.

Is hail damage to siding covered by insurance?

It frequently is, though the approval decision belongs to your carrier and we won't promise an outcome. Siding damage is one of the most commonly omitted items on initial claim scopes, which is exactly why we document all four elevations.

Do you do complete siding replacement?

We focus on repair and storm restoration. For a full whole-home re-side or a specialty material, a dedicated siding contractor is often the better fit and we'll tell you that honestly.

Should siding and roofing be done at the same time?

If both are damaged, yes. The transition where roof meets wall — step flashing, counter flashing, kickout flashing — is a common leak origin, and it's handled far better when one contractor is responsible for both sides of that detail.
